Labcraft Orbital 12V LED downlighter

The Orbit range of lighting from Labcraft is a new range of products which utilise the latest in LED technology to bring you a super-bright, energy efficient lighting range suitable for a variety of applications. It comprises the Orbit and the Orbital, which are ultra-slim, surface-mounted, lighting solutions, and the Mini Orbit which has been designed to compliment the Orbit and Orbital by adding a matching, recessed downlighter option to the range.

The Orbit and Orbital have been designed as an ultra-slim, surface-mounted, lighting solution. They are injection-moulded from tough polycarbonate, that not only gives you general illumination, but also generates a radiated glow from the sides to give you a gentle ceiling wash effect. Both the Orbit and Orbital incorporate an on/off touch switch built into the actual design of the lights thereby eliminating any unsightly switches.

Traditionally, downlighters are installed into a variety of positions, many of which are within easy reach, and the majority are halogen options which can reach temperatures in the region of 90°C. As LEDs are cool, running the Mini Orbit provides a much safer lighting option without compromising on light output.
