Quantity:The British-made GB-SOL panel is a high-quality marine grade panel. It's extremely tough - when bonded or screwed down to the deck of your boat you can walk on it in seaboots quite happily!
At 70W output, it gives plenty of power for lighting and navigation instruments etc, although you shouldn't expect it to run power-hungry appliances such as fridges on its own.
It's primarily designed for use on yachts, but is a great low-profile, vandal resistant alternative to framed solar panels on caravans and narrowboats too. As a kit it comes with:
- GB-SOL 70W marine solar panel
- Sikaflex adhesive sealant for bonding it down
- a deck gland to bring the cable through the deck
- 2m cable from solar panel to regulator
- Choice of Sunsaver 6A or Emponi MPPT regulator
- 1.5m cables between regulator and battery bank, fitted with ring terminals and in-line fuse
The panel is available with a dark blue or silver backing - just choose from the options above.
